Posted on 18 February 2010 by admin

For the first time in two years Spanish property prices showed a slight increase in January 2010. There are indications that the crushed property market in Spain may be showing signs of recovering.

On average the national increase was 0.6%, however Catalunya showed the highest price rise; a healthy 4.6% increase along with La Rioja, where prices also rose by 4.5%.

In December 2009, there were just 28,669 house sales, which makes it the second lowest level of sales on record.
